Species known as the Greater Snowdrop or Elwes’s Snowdrop, native to the Caucasus. Plants grow to 30cm, with large, glaucous leaves that are considerably wider than those of G. nivalis. Flowers emerge in late winter, with large pure-white outer segments and flared inner segments that bear both basal and apical green markings that sometimes merge with one another. AGM.

Each year at Cambo we release a small quantity of specialist Galanthus varieties for sale from our collections. Cambo specialist Galanthus varieties are sent out as adult flowering bulbs, from February. Our team process specialist snowdrops on the day of their dispatch.
