This vigorous G. plicatus hybrid is named for its prominent upright spathes that its large flowers emerge from. The outer floral segments have a slightly ridged appearance and taper to a blunt point. The inner segments flair slightly towards the tip and are marked with a strong U-shaped mark over the sinus and two smaller oval marks closer to the base. An excellent reliable cultivar, suitable for beginners.
